This is a unique programme where you will acquire knowledge and skills in karstology, speleology, ornithology, scouting, coexistence with wild beasts, hiking and outdoor survival.
The adventure starts in a karst cave below the earth’s surface and ends on the surface phenomena known as the Green Karst. The stops in-between will allow us to uncover the miracles of nature and the life teeming within it. We will eventually leave the wilds and return to civilisation, visiting the biggest tourist attractions of the Karst, which were created by nature and complemented by human creativity.
Day 1
9.00: visi tof Križna cave (4 hours)
14:00 Lake Cerknica, hay cart
16:00 making of wooden skates
Overnight stay at one of the tourist farms near Lake Cerknica
Day 2
9:00 experience the lake and drevak , fishing ancient technique
13:00 Heritage house
15:00 exploring Rakov Škocjan
18:00 observing birds
