In northern Slovenia lies a mountain ridge called Pohorje. There, among the rich and dense forests, hidden away from transit roads and commercial centres, you can find the only flat basin with a small town Lovrenc na Pohorju. Due to its secluded location you will discover pristine nature, unspoiled and lush green forests.
We will pack your backpack with homemade goodies »PREKLJAUZN« and take you hiking to the highest and broadest moor in Slovenia – the Lovrenc lakes. The whole moorland is situated on the high, flat ridge, on the altitude of some 1520m, where you can discover several small lakes or ponds and a rich and unique ecosystem. You can also visit the ski centre Rogla and walk among tree tops. After an early dinner in an original old town pub you will spend the night in a 200-year-old forest cottage. There you will find a piece of heaven and relax in a Finnish sauna before listening to the sounds of the forest at night.
The next day after breakfast we will take you to a sightseeing tour »ŽVANCANJE« with a local guide who will reveal you all the small-town wonders, like the 500 year-old wooden house or a blacksmith workshop in one of the oldest factories producing scythes and sickles. The tour will end at the priciest beehive you have ever seen. There the beekeeper will great you with a honey light lunch box. At the end of your small-town adventure you will take an e-bike ride to the top of the local hill Rdeči breg to the farm Koh where the views of the town and mountain ridge Pohorje stretch before your eyes like a painters’ palette. After homemade early dinner you can test your skills at Russian bowling.

9.00: arrival in Lovrenc na Pohorju
9.15 – 15.00: hiking tour to the Lovrenc lakes and tree top walk in Rogla
15.00 – 16.30: traditional dinner by Maks – Pub Urbanc
16.30 – 17.00: arrival to cottage Dobnik (accommodation for 1 night with a possibility to use Finnish sauna free of charge)
Day 2
till 10.00: breakfast
10.00 – 13.00: »ŽVANCANJE« (a sightseeing tour) in Lovrenc
13.00 – 14.00: honey light lunch
14.00 – 16.00: e-bike ride to the farm Koh
16.00 – 18.00: homemade early dinner and Russian bowling
