Welcome to Kamnik, where you will first discover the hidden gems of medieval Kamnik with a local guide. After a tour of the old town center, you will continue to the Repnik Guesthouse, where you will spoil your taste buds with some of the typical culinary delights of the Kamnik area. After lunch, you will drive to Zgornje Palovče, where the centuries-old Budnar’s homestead is a living museum of our ancestors. After a tour of the centuries-old homestead, it’s time for a cold, home-cooked steak. You will spend the night at the Slovenia Eco Resort in Stahovica.

The next morning you will go to Motnik, where you will see one of the most interesting squares in the Tuhinj Valley. After visiting Motnik, you will have an interesting tour of the farm Pr’ Gabršk. In the afternoon you will take a short hike to the Church of St. Nicholas. You will conclude an unforgettable experience with a delicious dinner in Snovik at the Izba Inn.

Day 1
9:00 – Sightseeing of the medieval town Kamnik (old town, small castle, Šutna, Franciscan Friary with library, handicraft workshop)
12:00 – Tastes of Kamnik (Kamnik culinary specialties in Repnik Guesthouse)
14:30 – Budnar’s homestead (visit to the living museum of the life of our ancestors with a cold lunch)
20:00 – Overnight stay at the Slovenia Eco Resort

Day 2
10:30 – Guided tour of the village Motnik
13:00 – A visit to the farm Pr Gabršk and tasting of local dishes / making Trnič
16:00 – Afternoon hike to the hill of St. Nicholas in the Tuhinj valley
20:00 – Dinner in Snovik in the Izba inn
